They often have white 'lightning strikes' and sometimes put out small to large sections of white variegation. They seem to be somewhat unstable and sometimes revert to manjula-like leaves.

Will typically have lots of green speckled variegation all over the leaves although the amount of speckles can vary and occasionally have very little - in this case they will still have the distinct silvery grey tones and flat, wavy leaf shape.
